How To Clean The Heating Pad

The method of cleaning the heating pad depends on the type and material of the heating pad. For general heating pads, the following steps can be taken:
Power outage and disassembly. Ensure that the heating pad is powered off and remove all accessories, such as clips and other fixed components. 
Hand wash. Use warm soapy water or specialized cleaning agents, gently scrub the heating pad with a sponge or soft brush, avoiding the use of irritating cleaning agents and rough brushes. 
Air dry. After cleaning, avoid using a dryer and instead lay the heating pad flat in a ventilated area for natural air drying. 
For silicone heating pads, water washing should be avoided as moisture may cause silicone to expand or damage. It is recommended to use a soft dry cloth to wipe the surface and avoid using chemical cleaning agents.
