What are the technical specifications of electric blankets?
In order to ensure the appearance quality, performance and safety of electric blankets, the national standard has detailed provisions for various technical requirements. These serve as the basis for manufacturers to formulate their internal enterprise production standards, as well as the basis for arbitration when disputes arise between consumers and manufacturers.
The main technical requirements for electric blankets are:
(1) Leakage current in damp state ≤2~5mA,
Leakage current at operating temperature ≤1~2.5mA.
(2) Dielectric strength in damp state and operating temperature conditions - 3750V, 1 minute.

(3) Must withstand 4,000 mechanical folding tests and 4,000 dynamic load tests without broken heating wires, blanket surface damage, or other failures that affect normal use.

(4) The switch and controller can be dropped from a height of 4 cm onto a steel plate 100 times and from a height of 50 cm onto a wooden board 3 times without damage.
(5) The power cord can withstand a pull force of 100 N and a torque test of 0.35 Nm without damage.
(6) During normal use, the surface temperature rise of the heating wire ≤80°C.
(7) Input power deviation shall not exceed 10%.

(8) After the folded temperature test, the temperature of the heating wire ≤145°C
(for constant-temperature type: 160°C).
(9) Power cord length shall not be less than 2 meters, cross-sectional area 0.5 mm².
(10) Power per unit heating area of the electric blanket ≥50 W/m²,
Linear power of the heating element ≤4 W/m,
Weight per unit area of the electric blanket ≤0.4 kg/m².
(11) Temperature difference between any two points on the heating surface of the electric blanket ≤6°C.

(12) Temperature control error for temperature-controlled type ≤±5°C.
(13) The appearance shall be flat, clean, soft, with even stitching and firm seams, etc.
(14) Service life. Under rated conditions, the electric blanket shall operate for a cumulative 3,000 hours, during which the insulation materials shall not fade, deform, or age.
